The PS1 or PSX aesthetic is one of the most distinctive looks in game history, and it was born from hardware limits rather than artistic choice. The original PlayStation could not perform perspective correct texture mapping, so textures swam and warped across polygons as the camera moved. It also lacked a hardware floating point unit, which forced vertices onto an integer grid and produced the famous jitter or wobble as models shifted. For export, GLB is the best default for the web, Three.js, Godot, and AR because it is a self contained binary that bundles geometry, materials, and your tiny textures into one file. Use FBX when you are working in Unity or Unreal and want to preserve hierarchy, pivots, material slots, and any skeletal animation. OBJ is fine for a static prop that needs to drop into any tool, though it carries no animation. STL or 3MF are only for 3D printing, where textures are ignored and the mesh must be watertight, and USDZ covers iOS AR Quick Look.
